The issuance of a Permanent Resident Card to a foreign citizen is contingent upon the following conditions:
- The applicant must be a spouse, relative (such as a brother, sister, grandparent, or grandchild) of either an Armenian citizen or a foreign citizen possessing a Special Passport of Armenia. Furthermore, they should have sufficient housing or property in Armenia and have resided in Armenia legally for a minimum of 3 years before seeking a Permanent Resident Card.
- The applicant must be engaged in entrepreneurial activities in Armenia
- The applicant must be an Armenian national.
The Permanent Resident Card is initially granted with a validity period of five years and can subsequently be renewed for an additional five years. To renew the Permanent Resident Card, the applicant is required to submit their request at least 30 days before the card’s expiration date.
